Mexichem is a leader in the chemical and petrochemical industry in Latin America, with more than 50 years of experience in the region and 27 years on the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Valores de Mexico). Its products are marketed worldwide and generate sales of more than USD 3 billion annually.
Today Mexichem has more than 10,000 employees throughout virtually the entire American continent, contributing actively to development in the countries where it operates.

Our companies fully meet Mexican environmental and safety regulations, and we are also members of the Total Responsibility Program developed by the National Chemical Industry Association (ANIQ), similar to the Responsible Care program developed in the United States. Mexichem Resinas Vinílicas has earned prominent distinctions for the progress it has made within this program.
Our plants also have ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certifications, and we have developed, alongside other companies, the concept of eco-efficiency aimed at the economically efficient use of the byproducts that come from our production processes, contributing to environmental protection. Because of their involvement in these projects that significantly benefit the environment, some of our plants have earned Clean Industry Certification.
Our PVC pipe producing companies in Mexico and Colombia are proud to have voluntarily adopted best practices in Health, Safety and the Environment, consistent with the principles of Responsible Care.
At the same time, our plants in Colombia and Peru have received Icontect 20090 and SEDAPAL 2009 certifications, respectively, while in Venezuela we have earned the NORVEN 2009 Official Venezuelan Quality Seal.
Our plants in Mexico, Mexichem Fluor and Mexichem Derivados, were recently recognized for technological improvements that brought substantial savings on thermal energy.
Our leadership, effort, perseverance, commitment and the impressive performance of our employees have all been noted and recognized by national and international organizations.
